This summer, three of our amazing Board members retried from our Board of Directors, and this month, we have three awesome women to welcome to our Board! Remember, Board members are volunteers, meaning that each of these new Directors has voluntarily chosen to dedicate a portion of their time, energy, and drive to support our students! We’re so glad that we get to introduce you to them today!

Kara Berg

Kara is currently the Assistant Vice President for Administrative Services at Aims Community College. From 2004-2006, Kara served as the Dream Team’s accountant and later served on our Board of Directors for the 2014-2015 academic year. We’re thrilled to have her back!

Deana Lemos-Garcia

Deana is currently the Human Resources Manager for the City of Greeley. She is also the director and owner of the BMS Foundation, a non-profit organization for minority women in honor of Brittiney Sierra. We are excited to have her as part of our Board of Directors!

Stacey Swanson

Stacey is the owner of Wealth and Women, an organization dedicated to educating women about their finances. Stacey also serves as the Budget & Finance Manager for Weld County Public Works Department. We are happy to have her join us!

Please join us in welcoming our three outstanding new Board members! We cannot wait for the great academic year (and many more) ahead of us with them on our team!
