What is the Dream Team Program at Platte Valley?

The Greeley Dream Team’s Platte Valley Program is a program that is brand new to Fall 2023 and supports students in Platte Valley School District RE-7 in Kersey, Colorado. This program mirrors our Dream Team Program in Greeley-Evans School District 6 and supports low-income and first-generation students at both Platte Valley Middle School and Platte Valley High School. The core of the Dream Team Program at Platte Valley RE-7 focuses on the relationships built between the Advisor and their students to prepare students for a successful transition into a two or four-year university.

  • Continued Educational Support, Following High School Graduation
 
Eligibility Requirements:
  •  Must be in grades 6 through 11
  •  Must be a U.S. Citizen or an Eligible Non-Citizen
  •  Must be income-eligible (taxable income and household size)
  •  First-Generation (first in family to earn a bachelor’s degree)
  •  Attend either school in Platte Valley School District RE-7:
    • Platte Valley Middle School
    • Platte Valley High School
