Paul Lind, Aims Community College Representative

 

Paul Lind joined our Board of Directors in January 2022. Paul serves as the Budget and Administrative Process Director for Financial Services at Aims Community College. He is an incredible member of our Board, and his insight and support of our students are incredibly appreciated!

What is your favorite part of serving on the Board of Directors?

This would have to be when we, as Board members, are able to hear about the success of current Dream Team students and alumni Dream Team students.

What influenced you to serve on the Board for the Dream Team?

The willingness to give back to my community in a way that helps cultivate the opportunity to learn and succeed.

What does it mean to you (personally and/or professionally) to serve on the Board?

Personally and professionally, this means a great deal as the work done by The Greeley Dream Team touches so many deserving lives. By serving on the Board, I have been given firsthand experiences of how important the support given to Dream Team students is.

What advice would you give to a Dream Team student who one day wants to work in your field?

My advice would be to always be looking to grow as an individual and a professional. Growing requires you to be willing to take on new adventures when they are presented, ask questions when you have them, and most importantly, continue to strive to learn through mentorship and education.

What did you study in college?

Accounting

What inspired you to work in your field?

Accounting was something that made sense to me from the first Accounting class I took in High School. The structure and balance of Accounting allowed me to accept this as my career rather than a job.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and our two girls.
