What aspect of being in the Dream Team has stuck with you?
The community of Dream Team is something that has always helped me, and the assistance I always had access to was special to me. If I had a homework question, needed a break, or anything with college help, I always had either an Advisor or another Dream Team friend to turn to. I will say it again and again: this is a family.
What are your goals for the future, and what goals have you achieved?
I hope to one day not only be a theatre teacher but also, hopefully, an author of my own novel. I love teaching, and I am currently in the process of applying to be a substitute teacher and to transfer colleges.
What is one of your best memories of being in the Dream Team?
My favorite memory from Dream Team is definitely one from a while ago, me and my best friend used to go on the summer field trips, and I loved discovering college campuses that I had never even thought about until that day. As well as the less college-oriented ones like the dinosaur park! Just the team bonding involved was just so fun and memorable for me.
What is one piece of advice you would give a Dream Team student who has just graduated high school?
This may sound super cheesy, but genuinely allow your journey to change. I have gone through a million possible outcomes in my head of my college journey, but I never thought I would end up where I am. Time is going to take you right where you need to be; even if you have no idea what you are doing, it is okay! You will 100% figure it out.
