What aspect of being in the Dream Team has stuck with you?
The support that the Dream Team has given me was incredible. My Advisor has helped me with submitting my scholarship and college applications. They have prepared me for my future and have continued to check up on me after my high school graduation, which I have appreciated.
What are your goals for the future, and what goals have you achieved?
My goals for the future are to become a pediatric nurse working at a hospital and, hopefully, a nurse practitioner. I have recently been accepted to the nursing program here at UNC, and I have bought my dream car.
What is one of your best memories of being in the Dream Team?
My favorite memory from the Dream Team has been the workshops and field trips that we took during my high school years. I had a fun time learning about different universities and working on skills that will help me with my future.
What is one piece of advice you would give a Dream Team student who has just graduated high school?
One piece of advice that I would give is to make connections and have fun, whether it be in the job force or college. Take risks because you never know what will come from it.
