December is here, and it’s a little cold outside! Keep reading for some fun things you can do in town in December, even though you might need an extra layer or two!

 

Festival of Trees

Union Colony Civic Center – 701 10th St in Greeley – entry is $3 for adults and $2 for kids 1-12 and seniors 60+

Monday, December 2nd – 3:00-8:00pm
Wednesday, December 4th – 3:00-8:00pm
Thursday, December 5th – 3:00-8:00pm
Saturday, December 7th – 1:00-5:00pm

Head over to the UCCC to see a forest’s worth of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, participate in a silent auction, visit Santa, get your face painted, make some crafts, go on a carriage ride, enter for a door prize, and be serenaded by carolers!

 

SEVA Community’s 9th Annual Holiday Fiesta

Rodarte Community Center – 920 A St in Greeley – entry is free

Saturday, December 7th – 1:00-3:00pm

Enjoy art activities, games, cookie decorating, visiting with Santa, face painting and more.  Every child will get a gently used book and stuffed animal.  Free fun for the whole family.

 

Teddy Bear Bash

Union Colony Civic Center – 701 10th St in Greeley – entry is $7 for anyone over the age of 1

Families can stop by the UCCC to meet Christopher the Christmas Bear, play games, watch a dance recital, register to win a teddy bear and a bike, and even call the North Pole Hotline to share their Christmas list with the elves and Santa himself!

 

Winter Farmers’ Market

Zoe’s Café – 715 10th St in Greeley – entry is free

Saturday, December 7th – 9:00am-Noon
Saturday, December 21st – 9:00am-Noon

Head over to Zoe’s Café to support local farmers to get ahold of root crops, winter squash, green-house grown produce, locally-raised meat, freshly-baked bread, coffee, honey, spices, and much more! There are also performances, activities, and other events always happening at the Farmers’ Market.

 

Homesteader’s Holiday

Centennial Village Museum – 1475 A St in Greeley – entry is $3 for anyone over the age of 3. Those 12 and under get in free with canned food donation.

Saturday, December 7th – 10:00am-4:00pm

Stop by Centennial Village to tour decorated historical homes! While you’re there, you can make homemade candles, listen to music, make crafts, and shop!

 

30th Annual Community Christmas Party

Rodarte Community Center – 920 A St in Greeley – entry is free

Saturday, December 14th – 10:00am-1:00pm

Kids can stop by to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, have holiday treats, and make crafts! Children ages 12 and under can receive a git. For more information, call (970)350-9430.

 

Holiday Ice Show

Greeley Ice Haus – 900 8th Ave in Greeley – entry is $7 for those 3+ and free for those 2 and under

United States Air Force Academy Band Holiday Concert: Holly and Ivy

Join the Air Force Academy Band for their annual concert where they will play both classic and new holiday music!

 

Skate with Santa

Join Santa for ice skating at the Greeley Ice Haus There will be music and snacks, plus a skating lesson from Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves!
