What aspect of being in the Dream Team has stuck with you? The biggest aspect of being in the Dream Team that has stuck with me is the community. While I may have graduated in 2015, I know that I still have a family to go back to when I need help with navigating school, scholarships, internships, and life in general. The Dream Team has also taught me to pass that sense of community along to those I encounter/have encountered throughout my college career.

What are your goals for the future, and what goals have you achieved? I plan to continue my education in Marketing and Graphic Design. I have achieved many goals during my college career that include joining Pi Lambda Chi Latina Sorority, Inc. and holding up to six positions at a time, working at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center, giving back to my community, and empowering people in the communities surrounding me.

What is one of your favorite memories of the Dream Team? Some of my favorite memories of the Dream Team are from the annual Alumni picnics I have attended. It is a great opportunity to be in community and network with others who are on similar paths.

What is one piece of advice you would give a Dream Team student who has recently graduated high school? You do not have to have it all figured out. Every day is an opportunity to learn new things and explore different avenues until you do figure it out. Remember to stay open-minded and willing to learn new things!
