ETS Student Signs to OKC
Educational Talent Search (ETS) student Layne Hammer has signed to run women’s cross country at Oklahoma Christian. Layne is a long-distant runner who currently attends Greeley West High School. Congratulations Layne. To read the full story, click here.




Northridge Top 15 Academic Senior Student

Northridge High School Senior, Jimena Ibarra-Barcenas is one of the Top 15 Academic Senior Students at Northridge. With that, they were able to select a person who has been a mentor and role model to them throughout their high school years. Jimena chose her Educational Talent Search (ETS) Academic Advisor, Monica Salazar. Congratulations Jimena on making the Top 15 students and a huge thank you and congratulations to Monica for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her students. We are so proud of you both!

A Big Thanks to The Community Foundation Greeley and Weld County 
The Educational Talent Search (ETS) Boys Book Club would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to The Community Foundation Greeley and Weld County for making the Colorado Rockies game a memorable trip. The ETS middle school boys were able to attend the Colorado Rockies vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks game because of the Littler Youth Fund. We are sincerely grateful for your support and generosity!
                
National Youth Service Day Awards
Four Educational Talent Search (ETS) students were recognized last night during the National Youth Service Day Awards (NYSDA). Amie Garcia of Jefferson High School and Rhianna Mendez, Mariaha Gutierrez, and Katrina San Nicolas, all of Northridge High School.

National Youth Service Day is an annual public awareness and education campoign designed to broaden national, regional, and local recognition of the power of youth service. The purpse of NYSDA is to reinforce to young Americans the importance and the excitement of helping others. Congratulations to the 2013 NYSDA recipients!
